Red Red Red

I am a red head. Like really red, and I love it! I feel like I finally found my color, and I think the red gives me an excuse to be feisty! I have always been offended because I imagined that my hair was strawberry blonde and people would always tell me it was different colors, so I finally gave up and gave myself a color. I was sick of being "blondish brownish reddish"

Library

Here is our library. No one ever really hangs out in this room so its always nice and clean.

Also, since I have this random picture I will add it to this post. My friend Colin went to France in May and brought me back some soap from Marseille, where I guess they are known for their soap. It was very sweet, because he told me he looked all over to find one that wasn't fruit scented because he knew I hated fruit. Alas, my chocolate scented soap. Yummy!

This is my bathroom. After living with Crystal and her cute duck bathroom, you will notice I felt the need to add a little guy to my bathroom.

Disneyland

We were so so so lucky to be able to go to Disneyland thanks to my amazing roommate Kay and her amazing mom! It was by far the highlight of our trip

So excited to be there!

Basically, our reason for going to Disney was churros. I believe we ate 3 each. We walked into the park, and the first place we went was to a churro stand. She hadn't even started cooking them yet, but we told her we would wait, so we sat for 10 minutes waiting for the first churro's of the day!

The Kodak Theater. There is a mall attached to the Kodak Theater, and we were able to park in the parking garage for $2.00 for 4 hours if we got it validated, and wouldn't you know that there was a Hello Kitty store at the mall, that made validating it much easier!

Soaking wet Santa Monica

So, in one day we did Hollywood, Venice Beach and Santa Monica pier, the latter two in the pouring rain. So we walked up and down the pier, but almost everything was closed because it was raining, so we went to the arcade which was open because it was indoors. There, Colin found out my secret expertise in both Ski Ball and Pinball.

Colin was really excited to play the Rambo game, he often thinks he is in Vietnam.

This was just terrifying! I'm pretty sure if this was above Melanie's CVS, she wouldn't go to work.

After having a bit of a breakdown because I was cold, hungry and tired and not being able to find a cheapish restaurant, we stopped in at this amazing Mexican place, and I ate incredible fish tacos with this amazing cilantro lime sauce. Mmmm, so tasty.

We went to Venice Beach. It was raining. Hard. We walked up and down the beach and saw about 8 Medical Marijuana Places, all of whom were trying really hard to get us in, by any means possible, either rapping, and just letting us know it's $40 to get legalized. I am really confused how these places are allowed to operate. Oh well.

Oh yes, and people sell ecstasy and advertise! What a strange place.
